On the Road

Well, I'm here in Arlington, Texas, my second stop on the way to Denver. It's been a long a drive, but has given me ample amount of time to reflect on the past year and where I want to be going in the next. Oh, and its also given me a sore throat from singing at the top of my lungs, but hey, who cares?

This past year has been one of sheer delight, as I drive down I-20 I can't help but smile as I think of all my new friends, colleagues and future professionals that I've met at USC. With the recent graduation of our second year cohort, I'm truly excited to see the great things that they will do. It is people like the ones in this program that make life in South Carolina so amazing. I constantly reflect on how lucky I am for having met such wonderful people and to how lucky I am to witness first hand how we, as a group, can have such a great impact on where our students are going.

Hopefully this blog will chronicle my goings-on as I make way through my internship at Metro State College of Denver, and all the adventures I have while I'm there. I'm excited to once again step out of my comfort zone and take on a new challenge. That is, after all, what life is all about.

Don't worry though, I won't succumb to the jorts.
